Writer/Director Rachel Creeger is from the Orthodox Jewish Community, to her knowledge the only writer from her background creating mainstream theatre in London.

Her production company Time2Shine helps community groups to devise original work from concept to performance. Personal credits include “An Insomniac’s Guide To Ambulances”, “ESTHER! The Musical”, “Staffroom” and “Paying Attention”, plus many commissioned plays for children.

She regularly directs new writing, production manages DYSPLA festival (www.dysthelexi.com) and was part of the team behind the highly acclaimed Othello at the Bussey Building. Rachel hosts comedy nights including monthly gig “Upstairs at the Adam & Eve” and is also a singer/songwriter.

She is currently on an arts secondment at the LJCC, focussing on projects including the Hampstead & Highgate Literary Festival and the FUSION children’s programme.
